It is the procedure that enables holders of university degrees to practice
their work legally and legitimately in Türkiye; just like someone who holds a
degree issued by a Turkish educational institution. It also allows students
graduating from medical colleges to complete their postgraduate studies in
Türkiye.
Why should you do the equivalency?
According to Law No. 2547 of the Turkish Ministry of Higher Education, in order for a foreigner's university degree issued outside Türkiye to be authorized, it must be as equalized as if it were awarded by or equivalent to a degree from an accredited Turkish educational institution.
How do I obtain a university degree equivalency through United Education?

Documents required for university degree equivalency
A colored copy of the passport (or identity card (ID), registry document, or refugee certificate "Kimlik").
Turkish secondary school certificates' equivalency.
The original university degree must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of the country from which graduation took place (the graduation certificate or it is preferred to send the main original official degree).
The original university transcript must also be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country from which graduation took place.
Translation of the university certificate with attestation by the Turkish notary public.

Note: For students who hold a degree in pharmacy and wish to equalize their certificate in Türkiye, a training certificate must be added as a requirement, which can be obtained from any pharmacy in Türkiye. The training period should not be less than one month.
